“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7
Everything we have comes from God, and giving is one of the ways we say so. It is not a fee for entry and it is never a condition of belonging — you are welcome in this house whether you give or not, and no one here is counting.
What is given keeps the lights on and the doors open. It carries the Sunday gathering, the Tuesday and Thursday deliverance services, the all-round prayers on Friday and Saturday nights. It reaches a family in the congregation going through a hard month, quietly, without anyone else knowing. When you give, you are standing behind every one of those moments — and behind the person who will walk in next week carrying something heavy and find somewhere to put it down.
However you choose to give, it goes to the same place — the ordinary, unglamorous work of keeping a church family alive in Perth. Here are the three simplest ways.
Offerings are received at every midweek gathering in Victoria Park. Speak to any of the welcome team — they will be glad to help you.
Direct deposit to our Westpac account. Full details are below — please use your name as the reference so we can thank you properly.
Set up a recurring transfer from your own bank using the details below. A steady gift, however small, is what lets the church plan ahead with confidence.
Tithes, offerings, thanksgiving and building gifts all go to the same account.
Please use your name as the payment reference. If your gift is for a particular purpose, add a word after it — for example Ada – tithe or Ada – building.
Every gift is received with thanks and handled carefully by the church accounts team.
The best place to start is in the room, with the family.
